On September 27th we stepped into a fairy tale, a beautiful venue, amazing staff and absolutely delicious meal. Our guests still make comments on how mouth watering the meal was. We can’t express how much we appreciate all the stress Kathi, Lauren and Lee-Ann went through to make our day flawless.
I golf all over Canada, the USA and Mexico and I have rarely found a golf Course like Bear Creek near Barrie. The layout is fair but challenging and the course conditions are pristine . The fairways are lush and and ball sits up nicely. The greens are perfect . It is obvious that they irrigate regularly using the abundant water on the property . All in all, Bear Creek makes golf what it should be - FUN ! I just wish I had a course near me in Vancouver that was half as good for the price . I will come back !

Best golf course, best people
Wonderful course and people
Played here many times this summer. Their 27 hole golf tournaments are a great bargain price wise and always a lot of fun.
Great course with some nice challenges. Staff is fantastic. Been playing here for 25 years, it's a hidden gem.
New member this year. Wonderful staff in pro shop and dining area. Have played all 3 nines and have not been disappointed. Course in very good shape, greens could be a little faster!
Great golf spot. Yummy food. When kids are older I will be a regular.
I play in the Keg Monday Night Men's League at Bear Creek! It's a great course, fantastic management, and staff. The course is always in top condition and three nines means we get a good variation playing each course leaa than 9 times a year.
Huge clubhouse is GREAT for tournaments and parties!
Keep up the GREAT work!
Friendly staff, Great Golf, Great Prices
I have recently played three courses in the Barrie area. I currently live in Vaughn but will be moving to this area in September. I'm an avid golfer and thought I would write a review for each course hoping to get some responses from members/public players to help make my decision. Obviously my review is on one round of golf at the course.
I played Bear Creek on Tuesday July 1st with a friend from work. I loved the layout of the course and know there is the option to play 3 nines. Course was busy as expected on a holiday. Greens rolled great and the fairways in good condition. I found the proshop staff to seem a bit out of sorts with communication to starter.
Give the course I played with the "island green" an "A" rating. Kudos to the maintenance staff.
Give the food a "B". Had a burger and it was just ok.
Overall very satisfied and can see myself playing there again.
